We got inspired by our last visit in India. The site promised a lot, beaches with huge amount of dark rocks and palm trees that seem to want to jump into the sea. Also beautiful boat rides spectacular lagoons that make you think of the Amazon. The hotel receptionist advised us the sleeper train with A / C. We told him we had had a bad experience with Indian trains but he assured us that this was better. We
manages the movement by taxi and were at the station marking time while locals told us life, they asked "where are you", "is the first time you visit India" and "if shall return to visit." As happens everywhere in India, the arrival of the train beat everyone by entering first and catch wonderful places that did not exist. The car itself looked like a barracks in Mauthausen with a sort of bunk skay blue cloth wipes clean anything. On the outside was 34 º C and within not exceeding 15 ° C. The Ernakulam-Trivandrum route was through a few rural villages. Within half an hour I started feeling unwell, had a pain in the stomach than I thought it was due to some sort of court of digestion. As much as going to the filthy toilet of the coach could not take away that pain. The train was quite slow and every time I had more pain and cold sweats about killed me. When we passed a large town or city we literally threw the train to catch a taxi to take us direct to Kovalam. With pain and all I could even haggle the taxi. Ten minutes in the car I told the man to forget the destination and take me straight to a private hospital. The man stopped to ask in a phone shop and took me to one who was half a mile. This is the end of my adventure in India. The pictures of what I have seen are drawn from Kerala tourism website. The ugliest is the entrance to the hospital and the patient who is not eager to have him or her pajamas.
