M and am grateful more than I can express, for the blessings the Lord has so abundantly poured out on me, about my family and the faithful Saints throughout the world. Now I want to sincerely and devoutly to be guided by the power of the Holy Spirit to testify to the truth and divinity of this glorious work in which we are engaged. I pray that the Spirit of light, truth and blessing us in building this meeting can continue to ignore in your heart so that you, being built up, ye know that these things which testify are true.
As members of the Church and kingdom of God on earth, we enjoy the gifts of the Spirit, these marvels, glories and miracles always a benevolent God has bestowed upon his faithful saints. The first of the gifts listed in our modern revelation is the testimony, the gift of revelation, the gift of knowing about
truth and divinity of the work. This is described elsewhere as the testimony of Jesus, which is the spirit of prophecy. This is my gift, I know that this book is true.
I have a perfect knowledge that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and was crucified for the sins of the world. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and through him, the everlasting gospel has been restored again in our day. And I know that this Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the kingdom of God on earth, and as is currently constituted, with President Harold B. Lee at the helm, has the approval of the Lord is doing, its purpose and is preparing a people for the second coming of the Son of Man.
even I know that the Lord poured out upon his people today the same glorious and wonderful gifts that the ancient saints enjoyed. At this time gives us the spirit of prophecy and revelation, as it did with the old. "I'll manifest", the glories and wonders of the everlasting gospel, says: "I will manifest it in your mind and heart through the Holy Spirit has come upon you and dwell in your heart. Now, behold, this is the spirit of revelation "(D & C 8:2-3).
I know there is revelation in the Church because, I have received revelation. I know that God speaks in this day because the I have spoken. I rejoice in the privilege and opportunity to serve as a witness to his name, to teach the truths of salvation revealed to me then testify that these doctrines are true.
This course is to teach sound doctrine and to testify the truth is the system of the Lord. Religion is from God, there is no other source. What is true, which brings joy and peace to the hearts of men in this world and prepare them for eternal glory in the world to come, all this comes from the Lord. In the same way that man can be resurrected also, can not create a religion of salvation.
God has given us now the truths of salvation, in the same way as revealed in every past dispensation;, or system is and always has been, to reveal to the apostles and prophets and righteous men, the doctrines and truths of salvation, and tell them to teach these truths and testifying to the whole world. They testify that they know their teachings from the Lord, their agents and servants are always witnesses to the truth. I rejoice for the privilege of being a witness of truth in those days.
I am grateful for the privilege I've had on this day to raise his hand in token of support and agreement to both my mind and in my soul, as the Spirit of the Lord is poured out on this great congregation, that support , respected and would welcome the advice of these great men that God has called to preside over his kingdom, the First Presidency of the Church President Harold B. Lee, a seer, a man filled with the spirit of revelation and wisdom, which is close to the Lord, who we are, the president N. Eldon Tanner the personification of integrity and virtue basic Christian who loves the Lord and keep His commands, the President Marion G. Romney, a spiritual giant, a justice that he knows the Lord and teach their doctrines, President Romney and I are members of the same family. After I was told my call told me:

For those brothers who hold the keys of the kingdom of God in these moments, the voice of the Lord to His people is, "These are the ones I have chosen as the First Presidency of my Church. Follow." and also: ".. on them I put the burden of all branches of the Church ... and whoever welcomes me, welcomes the First Presidency, whom I have sent..." (D & C 112 :18-20).
wish with all my heart sustain and support the Chair of the Church, walk in the light of revelation and truth that comes from his lips to reveal the will of the Lord, both their own people and those who sincerely seek truth among all nations of the earth. I know that the work is true.
I think I express the feelings of every one of you, I know I do it for myself and my family, saying that at this solemn assembly that has so abundantly poured out the Spirit of the Lord as we argued to the Authorities of the Church, and as we listened to President Lee, speaking for the Spirit's power, I think all we want to rededicate our lives to the principles of truth and justice by which these noble leaders, presidents of the Church appointed by President Lee, have lived, worked and died.
Be it our agreement, anyone who has been the past, then this is our agreement, that we may walk blameless in all the ordinances of the Lord. Be this our covenant, that keep the commandments of God and we will witness the truth and divinity of this glorious work, which is intended to cover the earth like a flood, and the cover as the waters cover the sea.
Oh God, let me with my family, and all faithful members of the house of Israel may walk in light and truth, and having enjoyed the ending and the association was not found in any other place outside the Church, we enjoy the same spirit, that same camaraderie in its eternal fullness, in the mansions and future kingdoms.
I say this humbly and with gratitude, with the spirit of testimony and thanksgiving, and in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
